| Batavierenfeest - Jelco - Mon 9 May |
May 7th saw the 39th edition of the Batavierenrace, the world's biggest relay race. After finishing on our very own campus here at the University of Twente, the campus is host to a spectacular party called the Batavierenfeest, with visitors ranking in the 14000. My biggest gig to date, I VJed at the so-called Green Light District, an outdoor location at a central position of the campus. The weather was great and the atmosphere even better, and it was definitely a night to remember.
The success of this weekend makes it likely that I will be returning to that spot next year, so you're hereby already invited to the 40th anniversary of the Batavierenrace and its resulting superb party!

So after a long while, I've finally managed to do my first VJ gig here in Enschede. I haven't done any VJing since I moved here over a year ago for Uni but have finally succeeded in landing a spot at Atak, the local concert venue that also hosts dance parties. I'm active as a volunteer in the tech department but can now officially add VJing to that list.  Incidentally my set has changed a bit since the last time so everything had a sligthly more professional feel to it. It was awesome. This first gig was on September 18th at the X-it Phoenix, a weekly party hosted every Saturday. I'm currently arranging upcoming dates, I can't wait.
The Atak website is currently suffering from terrible speed issues and the pics department hasn't been updated in months, so sadly the pictures will have to come later.

Alright, the site is now complete in its current empty state, with everything relevant moved from my main website (where I had it placed on a small obscure page) to the appropriate pages on this website. There's some downloads which I didn't make previously available (mostly because I thought they wouldn't be useful to anyone) but if you want to you can have a look on the Downloads page.

I'm currently setting up a special website for my VJing business, since I'm going to be doing more of that from now on and I thought it'd be nice to make use of the additional domains I have reserved for this. Check back in a bit to see more!
